/UCWE/ Spreading the popularity of Latino wrestling or “lucha libre” across the world, BIG VISION LATINO will release the first ever DVD series of its kind in the United States. The first 3 volumes of Konnan Presenta: Desperados del Ring are in stores today on DVD.

The DVD series includes matches from the likes of Konnan and Rey Misterio Jr., two of the biggest Mexican wrestling names known worldwide. Also included in the series are bonus matches of superstar legends, including Mil Mascaras and Blue Panther, along with footage of Juventud Guerrera, Octagon, La Parka, Psicosis, Halloween, Super Calo, and a host of other crossover favorites.

Konnan will be embarking on a national publicity tour that will include television, radio, and in-store appearances. The tour begins next Monday morning with an appearance on Univision’s “Despierta America” and will also include an upcoming feature on Telemundo’s “Sin Fronteras” (their equivalent to Dateline NBC) and a huge DVD release event taking place on Saturday May 14th at the Grand Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles during which Konnan will team with L.A. Park to take on Nicho El Millionario (the original and WWE bound Psicosis) and Black Tiger.
