/UCWE/ - Melissa Lumley is already a popular author whose adult novellas are published by Olympia Press but now Melissa has ventured into a new genre and new project by self-publishing her epic fantasy novel 'Beyond the Dragon Sea'.

Melissa actually first writing the book when she was still at stage school (in the same class as actress Patsy Kensit) and says that it has 'grown up with her'. Melissa opted for self-publication with lulu.com - the fastest growing print-on-demand company - so that she could secure the highest possible royalties because ten percent from all sales will be donated to International Animal Rescue.

IAR have a sanctuary in India for rescued dancing bears and Melissa is hoping that she will sell enough copies of her book to help save the bears.

'Beyond the Dragon Sea' is set in a mythical world that is dominated by a corrupt religious cult and tells the story of a temple slaveboy's struggle from boyhood to manhood against a backdrop of prejudice, conspiracy, genocide, black magic, ultimate sacrifice and forbidden love. The book is aimed at the adult market but is suitable from older teens. The book is available from www.lulu.com or from www.freewebs.com/melissalumley/.
