Seattle-based Band and Floodgate Records Artist Signs Exclusive Booking Contracts with Two Specialized Companies

COSTA MESA, CA /UCWE/ - The Seattle-based band The Myriad has signed exclusive booking contracts with both The Agency Group and Third Coast Artist Agency. Effective immediately, David Galea at the New York office of The Agency Group will handle general touring, and Keith Shackleford at Nashville’s Third Coast Artist Agency will cover the college, festival and Christian markets.

Chris Bradstreet manager of The Myriad, states, “This is really a best case scenario for the band. These companies have the ability to work together to strategically reach the different facets of The Myriad’s overall career goals as performing artists. Both are truly excited about the music, understand the overall vision, and are willing, from the outset, to forge a symbiotic relationship with each other to attain those goals.”

“After hearing the Myriad’s CD, I set up a showcase to see them right away,” explains David Galea. “From the first note of the show, I knew that I wanted to work with the band. I’m excited to get the band out there and expose their music to as many people as possible.”

Keith Shackleford adds, “It makes sense for us to partner with another indie like this. We can explore all options for the band, and really build on our company’s individual strengths. We’re extremely excited to have The Myriad on our roster and look forward to a long relationship with both the band and TAG.”

The Myriad released their national debut “You Can’t Trust a Ladder” this summer on Floodgate Records. Since it’s release, the band has been the staff pick on the alternative page of iTunes for several weeks and is receiving rave reviews from the media worldwide. Floodgate Records is based in Costa Mesa, CA and is home to artists such as Transition, Forever Changed and Mourning September. Distribution is through Word Entertainment / WEA.
